We say that we are so grateful we found each other — again.

Yes, we remember each other from high school and Camp Echo, and we reconnected in adulthood, but we feel like we remember each other many lifetimes over. Our deep connection has buoyed us through the biggest challenges of our lives and also grounds us when we are flying high with joy. We treat every day together as a celebration, and we have fun during even the most mundane activities. We both feel like we won the lottery. We feel that combination of ecstatic triumph and relief that you feel when the protagonists finally get together in a romantic comedy. In our most rom-com moments, we’ve even been known to say, “Josh and Jenny, forever may they reign.”

Every day around 6 o’clock, we have “our set” in front of the fire or on the beach. We look forward to our sets because we get to process the day together and share what happened at work and in life. We often get so caught up that we have to force ourselves to get up and make dinner because we could easily sit and talk all night. Somehow we just don’t get tired of talking to each other.

We know there are many exciting adventures ahead of us. We also know there will be challenges ahead. We will ride those waves together. We feel lucky to have come together at this phase of our lives when our kids are older, we’ve done the hard work on ourselves and gained some wisdom, navigated first marriages, started businesses, and engaged in the community. We’re both in very different places than we were at our first weddings, and we are so happy to be here. 

Some of our favorite things to do together: Go to the beach, sing, dance, cook, make cocktails, garden, hang with the kids, have a set, go on walks (alley walks with walktails are a fave), produce music, travel, and swim laps.

When all the kids are in college: We look forward to traveling a lot more and even spending extended periods of time (a few months) in different locations.

Big dreams of ours: Finishing an album and performing together, having a working farm at some point where we can grow and make almost everything we need.
